Welcome to Cnoc Na Rí ~ Art, Wellness & Spiritual Centre.
A note from the Founder.
“Hi, my name is Orlaígh (Or-la) and I am the creator and founder of Cnoc Na Rí. I have been on this journey of personal growth, spiritual accession and inner exploration for over 15 years. As a child I was always drawn to this energy and that draw never left me. As I reached my late 20’s I began really listening to my calling and started working with Angel Cards and working with Energy. This brought me on a tumultuous journey of healing, to arrive where I am now, building the vision of Cnoc Na Rí into a reality.
Cnoc Na Rí, Gaelic for ‘Hill of the King’. This name came to me long before I set up the business, it rattled around in my head much like a song does that you simply can’t forget. I knew its meaning, I loved that it connected to my home, and the place where I lived, Cloughree, another Gaelic name for Stone of the King. It was only recently that I did some historical research to discover that this name goes back centuries. The local townland name after this exact name. A place where ancient druids and celts and kings walked. I am living and creating a Centre of Celtic Spirituality in the shadow of the Ancient Irish before me. Chills!
That brings me to what Cnoc Na Rí is. Cnoc Na Rí is a Centre for Druidic and Celtic Spirituality, healing and growth. A place where ancient practices meet modern science and understanding. A fusion of the old and the new. A path that combines both Trauma-Informed and Nervous System approaches with Ancient Energetic Healing and Clearing. It is my goal to bring somatic, energetic and scientific healing into Holistic union as a new form of real and profound support and change to all my clients.
I come from lineage of Irish Faith Healers; my genealogy ties me to the lands of Ireland and Scotland for the past eight generations. I grew up in the Boyne Valley, visiting the ancient sites of Tara Na Rí and Brú Na Bóinne on Sunday afternoons, with my family. I remember tracing the triple-spiral and double-spiral carvings on the Entrance Stone of the Newgrange Monument with my little finger, when I was no more then 5 years old. I now live on the through-line from Rathcroghan to Úisneach to Brú Na Bóinne and Loughcrew. I spend my days wandering through the Corlea Bog, home to the Ancient Corlea Trackway. My life and my guides have kept me steeped in this beautiful, ancient, Gaelic energy. I have spent almost a decade learning, studying and understanding the stories, myths and ways of the Ancient Irish ancestors, the Tuatha Dé Danann and I am now weaving all of this knowledge and energy into my practice.
Welcome to my website, to my practice and to your journey home to yourself. into a reality.
